Croptep is an agtech startup that acts as a smart Hub for precision farming development. Its function is to store and interpret data derived from satellite images, sensors installed in agricultural fields, agricultural equipment, or data introduced by users.
Croptep not only connects farmers with agricultural technicians but also offers crop management tools that optimize decision making based on all the data collected. For this reason, it can achieve an improved crop yield, encourage the growth of environmentally sustainable crops, and reduce costs.
This project has also developed a hardware device that connects different sensors with the viewing platform.
For the sending of data, it has been used NB-IoT communication, specifically the services of the Sigfox operator. With this connected device, a large amount of data is received to be analyzed and transformed into value-added actions.
From the outset, the aim has been to respond to the sector's challenges and needs. Croptep has been conceptualized, designed, and developed by Eunoia in cooperation with different partners in the agricultural industry.
To this end, high-performance teams formed by engineers, designers, and agronomists have been created, which have allowed us to obtain useful value-added solutions.
